Who
We Are
The Renewable
Energy Resource Center (RERC) supports market development for
solar hot water and solar electric systems in Vermont.
Our main objectives
are:
1. To provide
consumers with high quality, unbiased information on system options,
and on the environmental and financial benefits associated with
renewable energy.
2. To help
consumers make informed decisions, and identify qualified equipment
vendors and installation professionals.
3. To help
consumers identify financing options for the purchase and installation
of a renewable energy system.
The RERC is
a project of the Vermont Energy Investment Corporation, a non-profit
organization committed to affordable and clean energy solutions.
The RERC receives
funding through the Vermont State Department of Public Services
as a partner of the Department of Energy Million Solar Roofs Initiative
and from the Department of Energy's Golden Field Office, through
their support for the Development of Markets for Solar Water Heating
Systems.
